Haystacks

At 582m high Haystacks offers some fine views of Buttermere, Crummock Water and Ennerdale Water and was one of the famous hiking guide author Wainwright's favourite peaks.

The summit can be reached from many of the surrounding valleys, but is perhaps easiest when approached from the slate quarry at the top of Honister Pass.
