Eskdale

The Eskdale region has some of the finest views in the whole of Cumbria. 

Boot is the most populous village in the Eskdale valley and was an important local centre for ore mining in the 19th century. Eskdale Mill in the village provides a working example of a corn mill.

Eskdale Green is a small settlement on the A595 towards Gosforth.
