Haverthwaite

Haverthwaite is a small place off the A590 close to Low Wood. Home to a steam railway line, occasionally open to the public, Haverthwaite boasts much history including an old listed gunpowder works.

Nearby Greenodd and Ulverston ensure the area is well provided with amenities and areas of interest. With the Lake District National Park to the north, Haverthwaite is an ideal starting point for a Lakes sojourn.
