Ireleth overlooks the beautiful Duddon estuary on the southern tip of the Cumbrian coast.

Ireleth is an ancient settlement and is listed as existing as early as the 11th century with a reference made to it in the infamous Domesday Book of William The conqueror.

Ireleth's later history is tied up in iron mines and iron works. more
