Lamplugh
Situated on the western most periphary of the English Lake District
National park close to Loweswater
and Ennerdale
Water, Lamplugh is a delightful scattered settlement easily accessible
from the A5086.
Places of interest include the Church of St.Michael replete with
aged gargoyles. Lamplugh's other claim to fame is Lamplugh Pudding,
a secret mix of hot ale, oats, biscuits and raisins.
