Ousby

Ousby to the south of Carlisle and close to Penrith is set beneath Melmerby Fell and Cross Fell in northern Cumbria. Originally written as Ulfsby, Ulnesby or Ullesby after the Norse settler who made the area his home, this scattered village overlooks Lake District scenery.
