Rosthwaite

Rosthwaite is set alongside the Borrowdale River in the Borrowdale Valley of central eastern Cumbria at the heart of the Lake District.

Walkers and climbers use this small hamlet as a starting point for exploration of the beautiful surrounding mountain areas. Nearby Derwentwater is one of the most beautiful of the Lake District lakes and is easily accessible along the B5289. Walks from Rosthwaite extend to nearby Castle Crag to the north and Honister Pass in a southerly direction.
