Sedbergh

Sedbergh is home to the esteemed public school of Sedbergh, once attended by William Wordworth's son. The school is a beautiful example of 16th century English architecture.

The area around Sedbergh has an interesting religious history with both the Quakers and John Knox, the firebrand Scottish preacher, preaching in and around Sedbergh in the previous centuries.
