Silloth
Silloth is a small coastal town on the Solway Firth in the north
west of the county. Accessible via the B5300 this town has much to
offer the more adventurous visitor to Cumbria and the Lake District.
To the north is Carlisle,
the capital city of the county of Cumbria and is located to the far
north of the county. Although Carlisle has the largest concentration
of people of any place in Cumbria, it remains a warm and friendly
place for visitors.
