Staveley

Staveley lies to the east of Windermere and to the west of Kendal and is the beginning of the valley of Kentmere. Close to the River Kent, this large village has a rich history as a centre of bobbin making for the local wool trade.

Today Staveley is a thriving place with many shops selling local fare and is in easy reach from the A591 road.
